What i learned about Customer Service

First, you never EVER want to work on a monday. People are downright mean.

Second, when people ask for your help in understanding something, they don't really want to hear an explanation. They want to know it was a mistake. An error. They don't want to be told ''It's very simple'' or ''These are all legitimate fees''. Because it insults their intelligence.
You know you got a client like that when they cut you off as you're trying to explain to them what they want to know.

Thirdly, old people are not bad with cellphones and current day technology. Sure, the learning curve is longer, but you don't ever, ever want to fuck with their bills. Because in their times, a dollard was a big thing. So if the system fucks up their balance of 70 cents, you better fix it mister.

Fourth...ly? Young people, like me for instance (between 18-25) think they are smart, think they found a mistake on their bill, think a lot of things when they call a company to complain, and hate, HATE to be proven wrong. Maybe their parents shouldn't have let them win so much at Monopoly when they were kids.

Fifthly (lol), what is it with the mentality that if you bitch enough, that if you yell enough, that if you threathen a company enough, you will get what you want? I do not understand this. And what pisses me off is that, it works.
But just so they don't get what they want TOO easily, i'll argue with them for 20 minutes about nothing. Just for the sake of it.
